Every piece from Made For A Woman is handwoven by an artisan in Madagascar from natural fibers.
With care, your piece will last for years.
A few principles apply to everything we make:
- Natural variations in color, texture, and shape are part of the work. No two pieces are identical, and yours is meant to be exactly as you received it.
- Store your piece in a cool, dry place when not in use, ideally in the dust bag it arrived in.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can fade natural dyes over time.
- Avoid prolonged contact with water. Raphia is a natural fiber and absorbs moisture.
Yes. Every piece is handwoven, so small differences in color, texture, and shape are not only normal, they're proof that yours is one of a kind.
Avoid prolonged contact with water. If it does get wet, dab gently with a soft cloth and let it air-dry away from direct heat.
Contact us if your piece is in need of repair and we'll guide you through the next steps.
