MADE Founder, Eileen Akbaraly, is a Italian-Indian Social Entrepreneur. Growing up in the multicultural biodiverse environment of Madagascar Eileen fell in love with both the people and their ancestral craftsmanship. Traditionally, people in Madagascar use Raphia as the main raw material for all craft, from art to daily living objects. Right then and there, Eileen knew Madagascar's ancestral techniques, craftsmanship, people and raw Raphia material had potential far beyond the Red Island.

After a decade designing luxury collections across France, India and Madagascar, Alice fell in love with raphia and natural fibres. Today, she shapes MADE’s artistic vision through craftsmanship, material innovation and contemporary design.
After completing her studies in France, Carole returned to Madagascar and joined Made For A Woman to combine creativity with storytelling. Through photography, video and creative direction, she captures the people and atmosphere behind the brand.

Joanna discovered sewing at Made For A Woman, quickly mastering pattern making and garment construction. What began as a new skill became a true vocation, and she now dreams of launching her own fashion label.
With a background in product design and fine art, Madison began her career designing for LVMH before becoming a creator, entrepreneur, designer and DJ. She brings a bold, culture-led perspective to Made For A Woman’s creative vision and strategy.
From crochet to embroidery, Mahenina has mastered every skill, sharing her savoir-faire first as a trainer, and now as a Table Leader. Embroidery, where patience and creativity meet, remains her favorite technique.
Mathilde began in housekeeping, before teaching herself crochet by watching the artisans at work. Today, she oversees quality with an expert eye, knowing the smallest details often make the greatest difference.
Mialy has built experience across finance, logistics and operations, building the systems that allow creativity to flourish. Representing Made For A Woman in Italy while completing her Master’s degree remains a defining milestone in her journey.

A trained midwife, Lanto has helped expand maternal health services at Made For A Woman, supporting women through pregnancy and motherhood. She believes care begins with listening and building authentic, genuine relationships with each individual.
Over six years, Stephanie has explored braiding, crochet and prototype development. Meticulous by nature, she believes exceptional craftsmanship lies in the balance between technique, patience and beautifully executed details.
